When I first started prepping for the World Race I had general ideas of seeing people healed.  It seemed more fantastical than realistic, but I liked the idea.

Part of my journey recently has been to know Jesus as Talia's Jesus and not my religious Jesus - but the Jesus of the Scriptures.  I started reading in Matthew; and as I read I realized, EVERYWHERE Jesus went, he healed people!  Check it out, every time he turns around he's doing some sort of miracle.  I question whether or not miracles will happen now because they are unfamiliar - but they weren't unfamiliar for Jesus and his disciples; and I don't want them to be unfamiliar to me.  I was just reading in Matthew 20.  It says,

"Two blind men were sitting by the roadside...they shouted all the lo

uder, 'Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!'  Jesus stopped and called them.  'What do you want me to do for you?' he asked.  'Lord,' they answered, 'we want our sight.'  Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes.  Immediately they received their sight and followed him."

I want to do this!  Talk about a reason to follow Jesus beyond logic!  I'd for sure appreciate your prayers, thoughts and encouragement.:)
